Every week, I scour the internet to find interesting articles or websites to share with you. Sometimes related to home decor, often times related to vintage, and always fun and interesting! Topics that start conversations, teach you something new, or make you think.
Pour yourself a cup of coffee and tune in each Saturday for “The Conversation Piece” – you never know what we’ll discover to talk about!
The Conversation Piece this Week
If you’re afraid of heights, this (vintage) home may not be for you…
This week I stumbled on an article called “The World’s Tallest Single Family Home Is for Sale for $1.5 Million” by Tara Bellucci on Apartment Therapy. This home, called the Falcon’s Nest, was built in Arizona in 1994. This ten-story home is 124 feet tall, and is the tallest single family home in the world.
Can you just imagine what the spectacular views would be like from the 2,000 square foot solarium, located on the 6th floor? Here’s a peek at a few of the rooms inside this portion of the house. All those windows in the bedroom – oh my! You could lay in bed at night and watch the stars.
Watching from inside this house while a storm rolls in would be intense! I think seeing the rain on all those windows would be pretty darn cool, don’t you?!
How about hosting a patio party on the deck on the 8th floor? At night!

Wow! Pretty impressive! Don’t know if I’d be able to look down without getting dizzy though!
Can you imagine moving into this place? All the furniture that needs to be carried up… thank goodness there is an elevator!

It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind place for a one-of-a-kind person!
