Weird Laws in Minnesota – Take 1 1


Did you know that the state of Minnesota had a law that limited Nursing Homes and Senior Centers to only two days of BINGO a week? Thank goodness this law was reversed in 2015 – BINGO on!

In Minnesota, it is illegal to stand around any building without a good reason to be there – aka, loitering.  The law reads “A person found in or loitering near any structure, vehicle, or private grounds who is there without the consent of the owner and is unable to account for his presence.”  Move along…

In Minnesota, any game in which participants attempt to capture a greased or oiled pig is illegal. This same law also prohibits turkey scrambles.  Gobble, gobble!
